Job Overview:
Loop is seeking a freelance social media manager to develop and manage content for our clients’ social accounts. This role will primarily engage with our Web3 clients, creating engaging content that resonates with newcomers and experienced members of the crypto community.
This role will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop content ideas, manage production, moderate communities, and optimize our social strategy — all with the goal of bringing our clients’ brands to life across platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ideate, create, and distribute original social content
- Manage a robust content calendar with posts across all social platforms (TikTok, X, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc)
- Direct external content creators remotely to film, providing scripts + stage direction as needed (note: this role does NOT require you to be on-camera talent)
- Ideate requests, assign + manage asset creation, solicit feedback, maintain deadlines, and oversee social content production across video and design teams.
- Quickly identify and develop content for relevant trends.
- Engage with followers through comments and DMs
- Track content performance and generate monthly client-facing social media reports
Position Details:
- Location: DUMBO, Brooklyn (In-office)
- Schedule: 15-30 hrs / week
- Duration: Starting immediately through June 2025
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum one year experience creating social content for a consumer-facing brand, preferably in the blockchain/Web3 space
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency culture, and the Web3 ecosystem
- Deep knowledge of social networks like TikTok, X, Instagram, and Reddit
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong technical and creative writing skills
- Existing presence in Web3 communities is a plus
- Familiarity with Figma and Notion is a plus
