Digital Marketing Strategist
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to help our beauty industry client with digital marketing strategy & execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing a brand's digital presence, primarily via social media channels.
This is a fully remote, 40 hour/week freelance role with an initial duration of one year. This person will ideally live in the Eastern Time Zone and must have their own computer. Some light travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day digital marketing efforts for a startup brand with an emphasis on go-to market planning.
- Develop and implement US digital & social media strategy.
- Lead agency partners in setting meaningful performance metric targets and then execute marketing plans.
- Accelerate social media follower growth by 3-4x in 2025. Primary channels will be Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Oversee paid & earned influencer strategy, building a network of brand advocates.
- Manage and review an organic social media content calendar.
- Weekly performance analytics and sales reporting for the brand.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in social media strategy, brand management, or other relevant digital marketing experience.
- Experience working with Sephora or ULTA as retailers is required.
- Proven expertise in growing a brand via digital marketing mix planning & analysis, paid media strategy & allocations, content marketing, and influencer marketing.
- Previous experience working with brands in the CPG & beauty industry is mandatory.
- Experience managing a content calendar for major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to run meetings efficiently and be succinct in communication.
- A startup mindset, willing to engage in tasks of all levels, recognizing that no job is too small and every role contributes to the overall success.
