Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Marketing Lead Consultant to join their team. As a Marketing Lead Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative eCommerce solutions for automotive dealers. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, strong collaboration skills, and executive level communication skills which will align successfully in the organization. Strong strategic background in automotive dealer ecommerce is required.
Job Title: Marketing Lead Consultant
Location: Dearborn, MI (hybrid)
What's the Job?
- Develop and execute ecommerce marketing plan including branding, messaging, content development, events, and calendar.
- Manage content creation and amalgamate content from vendors for including webinars, white papers, newsletters, and training materials.
- Oversee and manage agency or freelance resources for creative, communications, and content required for omni-channel advertising and marketing.
- Monitor spend against forecasted marketing budgets and track performance metrics to suggest actionable strategies for improvement.
- Maintain the authentic, trusted, and consistent tone of the brand across all platforms.
What's Needed?
- 7-10 years of marketing experience including Communications, Events, and PR within a corporate environment, with a focus on eCommerce, digital marketing, and OEM and Dealer applications
- Proven experience in building or refreshing a brand, specifically in the automotive marketing sector.
- Deep knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly focused on dealer-based products or solutions.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong presentation development capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% locally and nationally
