POSITION SUMMARY

We seek a part-time Freelance Editor for a 1-2 month assignment, cutting primarily social media reels around first-person shooter game campaigns. If you're an avid gamer who enjoys editing reels around gameplay, this may be a great part-time project for you.

This project is paid via W2 payroll - independent consulting or freelance payments will not be made via 1099. Local candidates to Los Angeles are preferred.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

- 20 or so hours per week - may flex up as the work requires

On-site meetings may occasionally be needed

- Heavily focused on first-person shooter games - a love for Apex, Call of Duty, Valorant, or similar games helpful

Campaign work includes cutting social assets but may also involve other digital content, such as interviews, commercial content, music videos, comedy, animation, trailers, etc.
Some VFX or Motion GFX capabilities would be awesome!

ABOUT YOU

You're an agile, and versatile editor
Integrated marketing agency experience helpful
You have hands-on experience with various styles of editing across social assets and digital content including interviews, commercial content, music videos, comedy, animation, trailers, etc.
Experience with media management, cut downs, resizing, etc.
Keen ear for music and sound design
You have excellent attention to detail
Experience with game capture and gaming assets is a plus
Thrives in fast-paced project situations and under deadlines
Commutable distance to Hollywood, California helpful, but not required
