Job Title: Social Media Video Editor (Part-Time / Remote)

C.O.V.E. Media is a boutique creative agency specializing in marketing for aesthetics, real estate, wellness, and lifestyle brands. We create bold, high-performing social content for brands across New York, Nashville, and beyond — from quick Reels and TikToks to occasional long-form video campaigns.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Video Editor to join our team. You’ll edit a mix of camera and iPhone footage into clean, engaging short-form videos that align with each client’s brand and message. Most projects will be Reels and TikToks, with an occasional long-form edit (up to 10 minutes).

Responsibilities:

Edit 15–20 short-form videos weekly (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
Occasionally edit long-form content (up to 10 minutes).
Add captions, transitions, and music that enhance pacing and storytelling.
Use Canva for simple text overlays, cover designs, and branded elements.
Repurpose and organize content for multiple platforms.
Stay current with social trends, audios, and platform best practices.
Deliver content on schedule while maintaining consistent quality.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
Experience editing for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual flow.
Basic Canva experience.
Reliable communication and time management skills.
Bonus: Experience with aesthetics, wellness, or real estate content.

Hours & Pay:

Estimated 12–18 hours per week for approximately 18 pieces of content weekly.
Short-form edits average 30–60 minutes each.
Long-form edits (when needed) may take 3–4 hours.
Pay: $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience.
Freelance / contract position, with potential to grow within the team.
